When Lily decided a few months ago she wanted to cut her hair, I showed her the Locks of Love website. I explained what cancer is and how many boys and girls with cancer lose their hair when they start taking their medicine. She decided that she would wait until her hair grew long enough so that she could donate it to Locks of Love. Today was the day our friend, Lupita, cut it all off. Before we put it in the envelope, Lily decided to write a note to the little boy or girl who would get her hair. It was a fun experience for everyone involved.
